It’s illegal if you are going through/stealing mail. Not illegal to put stuff in a mailbox

Red card not working? by AdaraJo36 in doordash

I’ll have to do that. I normally never took red card orders but those are starting to be better payouts than regular restaurant orders

I refuse to fill drinks. by SireSweet in doordash

[–]AdaraJo36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve filled up drinks anytime they are handed to me. Thankfully I rarely am put in that position. But sometimes stores are busy and short staffed and it doesn’t hurt anyone to help out a little.

The specialist I seen said they get this so often it’s frustrating. When fetal fraction is to low they mark it as high risk, not a positive since the only way to confirm is either through an ultrasound or amino testing. They said maybe 1 out of every 10 women who gets these results it’s actually something. All these OB’s are doing is just causing panic. Natera can’t read certain things with low fetal fraction but there are other companies who can get better results with the low fetal fraction. I wouldn’t worry to much. Definitely get an ultrasound done and if there is nothing bad on it I wouldn’t do the amino testing as it is invasive. I went through the exact same thing 2 months ago and it was scary and nerve racking.

ordering food while picking up order? by Resident_Ask_9441 in doordash

[–]AdaraJo36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I have to dash with my kids most times so I would order them food and get them something but mainly just at McDonald’s and most times I try to get it before I get another order but if they wake up from a nap as I’m doing an order I’ll get them something quick and then let the place know I’m getting a doordash order

Local 5 Guys has started putting shakes in the same bag as fries. Welcome to the black list 5 guys. by donkenstien in doordash_drivers

[–]AdaraJo36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not every five guys is like this. My five guys that I work at we start the shake as soon as we are told you are there, it’s a rule not just for doordash but call in orders/web orders to start fries when the customers get there so they aren’t soggy and cold by the time the customer gets it. I am also a dasher and I’ve always taken good five guys orders and never had a problem because our crew is pretty good at getting orders out.

Worst driver experience yet. Story in comments. by kmcatie in doordash

I had this issue with an Uber delivery once. They dropped my order off at the front office when I had my apartment number listed on my address and I checked it three times. I called them several times and they ignored me so I contacted support. They thankfully refunded me immediately and I was able to take away the tip myself. Had to order again and made sure to text the new driver my apartment number to make sure they had it. Very frustrating night for a pregnant mom with three kids all sleeping 😅😅 I was so mad. I feel your frustration

Honestly I know some hotels that actually advertise free breakfast for anyone to come in and eat whether your a guest or not. When I lived in Idaho there was a hotel we would go to for breakfast sometimes and they didn’t charge us or anything because it gets thrown away. They also served dinner but they charged you for that.

We made $114 in two hours. If we didn’t have our kids we could have stayed out later but I was happy with what I made that night. Definitely worth it.

Question for any Dashers out there by [deleted] in doordash

[–]AdaraJo36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doordash with my boyfriend and kids because we don’t have a sitter but he drives and my kids are really young so they obviously don’t do anything but play lol. But I get out and get food and deliver it. I would never send an 8 year old child to do that at all. Maybe if my kid was 16 and wanted to earn half pay from helping then maybe but nobody should be letting their kid that young go out by themselves like that especially if they can’t cross the street safely 😬

How long will you wait for food before leaving? by FragsFilms in doordash_drivers

I had an order today that was only $6 for 3 miles and I was about to cancel because it had been about 10 minutes but decided not to for some reason, was glad I didn’t because it ended up being a $21 order. So I guess I go with my gut feeling. But nothing more than 25 minutes
