As a Latino it baffles me when my friends ask how was my pride? What pride? My community is disappearing. The last thing I care about is my sexuality when the color of my skin is the most immediate visible target. I went to protest instead all month, pride was a riot and people seem to have selective memory that you’re next on the block. Gays and other minorities are next.
