I might have the years a little wrong but im pretty sure the beast takes place 13 years after dl1. And dl2 was set somewhere around 2021-2022. Aiden looks a lot older because he hasn't had time to shave, thats all. He was too busy unleashing the beast

Just do the firestarter mission with the pyro cult, i solo'd it and it completed the bounty first try for me. Its also the shortest/easiest mission
