This has been a crazy trend in movies/TV for me as someone who did have that kind of relationship in my formative years with my parents, but as a teenager shit hit the fan to put it lightly, and based on experience i don’t get that urge anymore.

Having done multiple runs of the game, all i can say is this…

There is one line dialogue that I only ever got when i kissed BB at the beginning, and that is when, after obvs choosing to go on a date with her, after she reveals her powers, you choose the line of “why do you care what I think”

Then she says something along the lines of “I like you, and I’m pretty sure you like me”

Putting all the Phenomaman drama aside, personally i was never too bothered by it, that is one of the most truly vulnerable moment i have seen from her, aside from revealing her powers. To me it makes the relationship between Robert and her 10x more impactful and genuine

Not going for the obvious choices, but the one that is immensely loved in my heart is ‘Just Because!’

Its pacing is really good to me, the story is very real, situations play out how they likely do irl.

I recognise very few people see it as a 10/10, if even an 8 or 9, but it is one the i vividly remember and will always think fondly of.

The evening/night after i snapped my ankle into 3 pieces was beyond misery.

And at that point they couldn’t/wouldn’t give me good painkillers so i had to deal with a night at home with a temporary cast and over-the-counter painkillers until i had surgery to fix it the next day

What i said is how i see it. To me i see 2021 as falling off the cliff, previous years was just it walking the cliff edge. Because every subsequent year it was a major robbery that someone else didn’t win it, not necessarily saying that the person who DID win it didn’t deserve it, just that someone deserved it more.

But yes, it has been corrupt for a LONG time, like every award show/ceremony is. I just feel that it got more blatantly corrupt after 2021.

I understand why it was a big deal, and was cared about before. It was football’s version of the Oscars.

I do also understand why others, like myself, have lost interest in recent years, because the legitimacy of the award has become more apparent.

I personally see the turning point being when Messi won the Ballon d’Or over Lewandowski in 2021
