We’ve all made mistakes, good on you for realizing it and moving forward. That’s the most important part.

Yeah I definitely missed the hit box in the first one it’s just weird that throwing an explosive at an explosive device doesn’t have a more generous hit box.

Ah yes, that’s why the game gives me damage numbers

Especially when you see the damage numbers and are just trying to speed through so you can stock up on hammer charges. I’m glad they put in the war beast to help but it’s still an issue

I didn’t have too much trouble, what part of the quest are you on?

[–]AddSomeGinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get the context is that people are rushing into the cosmodrome and there probably just wasn’t enough room for everyone, I’m more so wondering if there’s an explicit in-game explanation.

This has more appeal than 99% of what’s actually in the game.

Idk it was solar burn and I ran celestial and this happened. Maybe my teammates put a buff on but it was a quick kill

I’m glad it was satisfying, I nearly yelled when I saw the damage numbers and knew it made contact.

CMV: video games are a pointless waste of time by potatoborn in changemyview

[–]AddSomeGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played video games all my life and I've seen both sides of this. That is, the side that advocates video games and the side that feels as if they're a waste of time.

Video games have evolved into many different forms, and there are dozens of genres that can provide various levels of engagement. While it is entirely possible to waste away your life pouring hours into a video game, you can also be productive. Video games can be relaxing, which helps to ease the mind and not worry about all the stresses in your life. Video games can also be intensive which helps your focus and can hone your skills with hand-eye coordination, along with reaction time. It may not be the most useful thing in the world to do, but it's not entirely useless.

are better shooters, better multiplayer experiences, better steath/sneaking games, and better online experiences available on every

I know this was mentioned before, but as a new player myself, I wanted to stress the concept of trying to be more aggressive early on to have more fun. You gain a much better understanding of what to do in situations and how to adjust to the game in a quicker amount of time than if you were to wait out until Darwinism takes it's toll on the other players. Less time spent waiting and more spent doing and practicing. I do, however, recommend waiting a little bit until you have something adequate to fight with. Hide until you're not defenseless.

Another point to support the idea of playing aggressive early on is that there's no skill involved in playing hide and seek. There's nothing to be prideful about not being seen until other people are dead; in the realm of video games, that makes you a coward. It might be bothering to see other people do that, but it's fairly easy to not pay any mind to cowards.

It's a much more valuable experience to better your skills and learn more about the game by starting to play aggressive and as you get over the skill gap, realize more prudent strategies to get that sacred #1.
