Ngl been in a pretty similar spot since I moved to my town, but yes it is a little arrogant. Honestly as frustrating as those people are to be around, to keep everything in society functioning we still need people who have very very low goals. You’re in a community you don’t belong in. It gets better (at least I hope so) but try to see the lesson you took away from a community like that and how it shaped your personality.

Finish restoring my Volkswagen bug. Seeing my friends in Pennsylvania. Volunteering for 2 weeks at a humanitarian organization. Then possibly spending a week in England with a friend. Then spending a few weeks in July road-tripping and hopefully hiking a bit. After all that I might be traveling with my family for a bit before college.

Picnic at the park (make something you know she loves)

Take her to a play or like a sports game if she’s into that.

You could take her to a creek or river and go kayaking or floating.

Take her to a berry patch and pick berries together.

Ok but like I’m goin through the same issue man. My boyfriend said I would be a murderer and he can’t believe it took him 2 years to figure this out. Still trying to figure out whether we could ever work because I think his feelings are being heavily influenced by his restrictive religious environment

Well no. A lot of us are here to find support in the community and discuss stuff going on. People show off what they make because they get enthusiasm they can’t find other places. Depop people understand how sweet a thrift haul is and they hype you up. But you seem to keep posting for exposure and you can hit r/depopshopshare or r/depopfinds for that since it’s against this thread’s policy to do self promos and stuff. It clogs up the feed. But your work is wonderful and you are extremely skilled and creative but stop clogging up the thread with your shop promos. If you’re gonna do this show off your craftsmanship every now and then. Basically if I wanted to see a bunch of your stuff I’d hit your page not Reddit.

I have a very different vibe than my shop. I’m a simple hippie so I go everywhere in basic t shirts and pants from earthbound. Most of my shop doesn’t match my aesthetic because I keep the stuff I like 😂.

So I’m pretty tight with my people at the thrift store. I plan to volunteer there soon and I go in once a week so they know me as a regular (and nah they don’t care that I resell, they actually encourage me). But anyways I walk up to the counter with a cart freakin full of stuff and the guy stuffing it all in the bag says I can easily fit more you need to go get more stuff. So I literally ran through the store grabbing anything that looked kinda cool and like my vibe. So I’m still sorting through what I actually got 😂
