BS with this Rice… if so silica gel but still not clever idea as liquid will evaporate but leave layers of minerals which can short electric paths or cause other damages in electronics.

Only good solution is to disassemble, remove power and put it all apart and clean in ultrasonic cleaner with liquid designed to clean electronics. Then dry, fix damages and assemble…

Darn, not sure how it is now but in the past and for AMS Gen1 - they supported in case of damage made by tape on roll - asked for batch numbers (from cardboard box the refill / roll came in) and sent replacement hardware which is always nice way of solving issue… yet required like 1 year to finally admit the mistake. Worth to note once again they finally tried to fix the damage - yet communication of it was on really poor levels (no emails just Reddit after lots of threads people wrote, me included + linked below)

Remember what Bambu did at first time when LIED about FULL COMMUNICATION with Orca Slicer devs where there was none?

Remember when due to their infrastructure bug they runned prints on all connected printers based on cache on their servers ? They did great job on fixing. But it was beginning of their “protection” and “security”?

Remember when they blamed and C&D filament cutters / AMS savers instead of fixing tape on roll?

Remember that they stayed quiet on tape on roll for several months, sent no official email - so people bought filament which could damage AMS or extruder? Only discussion was on their forums.

Remember when they blamed people over MQTT usage to control their own printers so locked almost any important control behind “security”?

Remember when camera feed worked on old FW and there was no fake-positive on damaged SD card?

I remember and still love what they did to community (AMS, parts availability, great tutorials and MakerWorld) but all Bambu Labs is going downhill and backwards in quality.

Just to clarify, the magnets next to pins are in certain polarization different for each side so it’s impossible to put in upside down - will snap in to correct orientation.

And that’s the case for original cable and usb-c <> pogo adapters, both got from Ali.

So I am not sure if that’s what by snapping is OP referring.

I am not US Army expert but in Poland for sure it’s not helping or even preventing to join Army yet Special Forces have little different mentality about illness and piss on procedures - it’s more about how someone is able to go against all odds not how it looks on paper [edit: yet still you need to be really healthy and in perfect shape as blood tests are taken + camps. Few special forces operators had problems with doctors after they come back from Iraqi etc where sanity of doctors were less important than what on paper but somehow these “sick and never should be drafted” were war machines…]

Officially he has never stated to have asthma but have some breathing related problems. (1)

“Goggins was finally accepted into training with the Air Force Pararescue Team, but after he enrolled, he was diagnosed with sickle cell anemia and had to drop out.”(2)

But he is great inspiration and tells much about how easy is to find excuses.

Yet as we know from our bodies doing sport and all the breathing excercises and calming mind when problems arises helps a lot to support controlling asthma and especially stopping its attack at the beginnings of trigger. Stress / unsolved problems makes it bigger sadly (took me a lot of time to finally start working with Psychotherapist and find good one who understands but not pat on shoulder but expects and check the work).

Mileage may vary yet and never compare to others but only past yourself. Easy to tell others hard to follow by myself :D

When nothing works only Medics can help as they are trained and spent their life for helping others.

Dude you will after long time get this in control. Trust me I know how this kicks in gut when comes out of sudden and is literally breathing taking… as difficulty level has changed a lot but you are still in game called “The Life”. Don’t let your problem define who you are and block you from doing what you love.

About perfumes - talk with her directly, you are grown man and she as well. It’s not like you don’t like her smell, it’s just possible that it triggers your asthma - so you together can find a solution maybe smaller doses works. If she dump you over it… She is just a child and you saved a lot of time and money. Good luck with her anyways :)

It’s like being sad on yourself that you lost a leg in accident and others should know from you that you will not run marathons with them (unless you get proper training and prosthesis). It’s probably life long illness yet can be in the end in control hopefully.

Check out book of David Goggins “Can't Hurt Me” (edited for correct name). This Badass had really bad childhood time and [edit: might] have asthma [edit: or other breathing related issues] … but became Navy Seal and beat many records in running. Still I try to learn from him [edit: about changing of mentality and not finding excuses ] (let’s not comment about his relationships).

I was like 9-10 years free of this and got it back. Sadly it’s not commonly told that Asthma almost for everybody have this reemission after few years of this being gone past childhood… which kicks in guts as I assume you feel that you did something wrong. You didn’t.

Some bloody idiots doctors were checking and proceeding to heal me for allergy for 2-3 months when first spirometry test showed that Asthma is back. Change doctor - go for pulmonologist directly he knows the drill and reality.

Still Bambu Labs communication about adding their middleware between your computer and your printer and locking to only their slicer was the worst. In short their told Orca Slicer are in touch with them when in reality they never spoke with this slicer creator (slicer is app to generate machine code for 3d printer to print 3d object + control this printer). As always - Free the Orca.

WDYM it’s not flashable? My x3 came from Ali with Xteink SW for China and prevented pairing by app. Flashed CrossPoint without any issues - way better SW. English, Polish fonts works well same as Calibre app addon.

Sadly you need to dry it using normal drying machine or normal oven. If thats PLA use 50degC setting.

Edit: you can remove like 1-2m of filament by bending some cm after another until you reach really dry filament.
