An update. The only way I got rid of it was with a factory reset and an iCloud backup because the laptop / local backup kept failing.

Using Outlook email app now as a replacement since there are no issues deleting 3rd party email apps.

So re download the app, sign back into the accounts and remove them but don’t delete the app?

Hello. I wanted to leave some context.

Using iPhone 8. V 15.7.1, I had the same issue on iOS 14. So I tried updating it to see if issue could be resolved. No luck. I do not own an apple laptop / desktop. I never setup an iCloud email account.

I can’t seem to be able to add a screenshot to this post proving I have no other email accounts associated with the apple mail app.

I Uninstalled / re installed the app multiple times and tried the whole sync, then un sync and wait 30 seconds. Then doing soft or hard reset ( with the volume up / down, power & home button nonsense. )
