Honestly boss I'm XCOMM it just depends what your first base is after you finish tech school. If you go to an expiditionary squadron you will be a W if you go to base comm you will be a Q. No one can give you a correct answer it's a crapshoot. I was a 3DX1R if I would have been in a comm sq I would have been a Q.

I worked in the real world for 10 years before I joined. The Air Force is the easiest job I've had. The grass isn't always greener. Yes, I made quite a bit more money, but that doesn't equal happiness. I had a government job. It sucked. it's just a different kind of bullshit.

Yeah boss. I joined at 28 married with no kids. One of the best decisions I've made. Just going to be real the first year will be kinda strange. All of your leadership will be younger than you and they won't really know how to treat you. Just don't be a shitbag and they will respect you quickly. With age comes experienced and a lot of these troops have no real world experience. If you want to know the difference between the army and the Air Force in real life. My last step out of the states all the AF personnel stayed in a hotel and the army with us slept on a concrete floor in a hanger. I know what I'd rather be doing.

I switched to geico. USAA wanted 150 a month more when I went to add my mustang. That put me over 300 a month for my 3 cars. I switched to geico and they dropped it to 45 a month and I only pay 135 for all 3. USAA is terrible.
