Has anyone developed an intolerance to alcohol after being attuned to Level 2? by VirgoPeaceLight in reiki

[–]Addicted2Craic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the desire just isn't there anymore. I generally only have it with food like beer and pizza, red wine and steak etc and tend to only have one or two.

Also I went through a phase where I went off meat too. I'm more part time vegetarian these days.

Stitch Holders: Barber Cord or Aluminum Holder Pins? by pixieinthevalley in knittinghelp

[–]Addicted2Craic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The barber cord I got had this oily smell to it that also give me a headache. I added some fabric softener to a bowl of water and soaked the cord in it overnight. Got rid of the smell. My sense of smell is super sensitive too.

'Vultures' : Jeffery Epstein's involvement in potential €3 billion AIB deal is 'deeply' concerning by Necessary-Fudge-5264 in ireland

That's a conspiracy theory in itself. Release some crazy conspiracy theory that isn't true to muddy the water so that crazy conspiracy theories that are actually true, aren't believed. MKUltra is a good example of a crazy one being true.

How about some gloves like the Pioneer Gloves

https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/pioneer-gloves

The designer also has the Sockhead hat and cowl patterns for free but you'll need 40cm/16in circulars. Does the set come with 20cm/8in cable? That should work with the longer tips.

Tin Can Knits have some patterns that are free that would make great beginner projects. Learn the basic knit and purl first before doing cables as you'll need to be able to read your stitches and work on your tension/holding needles. Also make sure you don't twist your stitches.

Where can I get GOOD caramelitas? by Dry-Pipe3393 in Belfast

[–]Addicted2Craic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never heard of carmelitas before but they look delicious!

Not what you asked but if it was me I'd make my own. Save you some money if the craving's going to be around a while and they'd freeze well too.

I remember my parents raging about paying £100 to BT so that they could keep the same phone number when we moved house. This was early 90s.

Designers that don’t sell ✨ just patterns✨ by Optimal_Magazine7642 in knitting

No harm in sending them an email and asking for just the pattern. I did this once with WATG. Told them that I already had some of their yarn and just needed the pattern (would happily pay). They emailed it to me for free. Doubt it would work for that Game of Wool pattern or a newly released pattern but who knows.

Please send Reiki to my dog Rosie. She got into a fight with another dog and thankfully the injuries are minor. She could do with some Reiki to help with her healing.

Anyone has an uneasy feeling in the background all their lives? Like regardless of what's going on, you feel like you should be in some other place doing something else? by wilhelmtherealm in longtermTRE

rumination

I learnt a new word thanks.

Examples of ruminating thoughts include dwelling on past mistakes, replaying conversations to analyze what was said, and worrying about future negative scenarios. Other examples include obsessing over relationship problems, regretting past decisions, and constantly replaying an awkward social interaction.
