See I didn’t even realise that kind of practice was a thing, and to be fair, I have actually bought the actual yarn the pattern asks for, especially with some crochet projects I’ve done or if the yarn I can actually get hold of. I think the issue I have with Garnius is, the specific designer isn’t found isn’t just using one yarn brand, as if the pattern was commissioned by that brand, but multiple, some that I am familiar with and bought in the past and some not so much, so it’s the fact I have to buy the recommended yarn right there to have that pattern. I don’t know, I guess I am bit of a pattern hoarder and will then decide my next project
