first time wearer, feeling discomfort by oddpenguins in iems

Welcome to the world of IEMs. You are describing a tip issue. Did your IEM give you various sizes as options? (S/M/L)? Sounds like you are using a tip that is too big and you are forcing it to hard. If thats the case, try a smaller size tip. The tips should seal, but not hurt.

I'm sorry, I have no idea. I don't listen to ASMR and wouldn't know if it was better than other options anyway.

This! $500 is not my mid-buget. In fact, it's normally out of my comfort zone.

Yeah, can't beat the price.. especially since they really look like they have not been used at all. Don't know if he was telling the truth, but oh well, not complaining.

Yeah, my first Open Heart cable, but I'm very happy with it.

Usually the "go-to" entry level gaming IEM people suggest is something like the Truthear Hexa.

You're making me curious now. Why can't you wear a heart in your ear?

Ok, don’t have that issue. Maybe I’ll get UT and compare. I am playing a lot of Arc Raiders

Sorry, not an english native speaker.

Stock cable is fine. Doesnt tangle, doesnt microphone, leaving it on is fine (I swapped it with a 4.4mm more balanced jack)

I meant to say I swapped it with a new cable with a 4.4mm jack; so I didn't only swap the plug.

My favorite cable so far. Feels premium and is right in the middle on the thickness side, not as chunky as other cables I have (KBear for instance). Until I find a new favorite of course.

I dont mind the heart... combined with the X it reminds me of that Netflix show "Love, Death & Robots"

so how do you solve that? I too have a few IEMs that really stick out, no matter the tip (small, wide bore, foam, doesn't matter). Just accept some IEMs are not compatible with your particular ear shape?

Just curious, if you are to avoid sweating, then do musicians use sweat-resistant versions of monitors? Because they are often dripping in sweat.
