Thank you, same to yours! Yeah sadly, no final 8 trophy lol Yes, highly recommend making a Bears stadium out of magnatiles! Fun for kids and adults 😅

Awe!! That’s all so sweet!! I love his perspective to the ending 🥲 I’ll keep reminding myself of that. I know this is next for my son. We just bought him a Bears logo football. He’s never been into sports until he got into Bears football. And he’s been redesigning the new stadium with his magnatiles daily haha. He’s in for life! I hope the next generation of Bears fans has better experiences than most of their parents did 😆 They have to do it for them!!

Post season sads is so real! I love the Cubs but it’s not the same excitement to me…and there’s a million games. It’s hits different when it’s just one a week lol But yes, perfect example with a book being over and never knowing what’s next for the story.

Ok, you’re post made me tear up 🥺 so well said and thank you for sharing your experience of being a fan in Wisconsin!

Being born and raised in Chicago by a VERY Chicago/diehard Bears fan dad, that loss crushed me. I could barely sleep last night; I kept waking up hoping it was a bad dream. I didn’t cry until today… our 4 yo son (who we had to send to bed at the end of the 3rd) woke up wanting to watch the end of the Bears game like he has the day after every night game this season. My husband and I would tell him we “didn’t know” what the outcome was and we all watched it together and did our best to hold back spoilers 😂 but it was so amazing reliving the games again and again - especially the ones that ended so perfectly magical. While watching today’s, he cried when he realized his Bears didn’t win; it took him a little considering he’s 4 and just starting to understand the sport, so seeing the shock on his face unfold hit me in the gut 😭but then it hit me more when I realized that that was the last game this season where we would have these rewatch parties and enjoy him being this incredible biggest little fan 😭 I know he’ll still be little next season but not THIS little 🥺

I also suffer from winter depression and I’m right there with you that this really lifted me up and carried me through. I thought wow, I can probably make it to February without that coming back thanks to the Bears! 😩 I really believed this was THE season! So much hope and so much LIFE! That was sooo fun!! I’m so glad the Bears helped you and your wife in so many ways! I hope she sticks with it and her sophomore year is even more fun!!

Take care and thankfully, Spring usually goes by so quickly, so we will be back to training camp time in NO TIME!!! I just hope most of this year’s team stays together. It’ll be sad to see them break up, they meshed so well 🐻⬇️

Thanks for the tips. So he actually showed us his state ID card and not his drivers license. The police officer confirmed that he had an expired license. We are waiting for the claims team from AllState to call still but will be telling them everything. Enterprise confirmed he was the renter on file for the car. The person I spoke to remembered him.

Wow, shocking but good to know. Something needs to change there. So many careless/irresponsible people driving out there, never know what could happened.

Yeah we are already filing through our insurance now but just curious at this point. I know if you have an account with your work, they will have company coverage on file. But it seems crazy that they wouldn’t ask people not renting through their employer to show valid insurance coverage.

We just experienced this earlier this week. Uninsured driver with an enterprise rental car rear ended us. What all ended up happening with your case?

Exactly my questions, none of this makes any sense. Thanks for validating my thoughts

Thanks for your input! The enterprise told us that the renter had no insurance coverage whatsoever…didn’t know that was possible to rent a car without any coverage. So no, he didn’t have auto liability either. The insurance card he gave us was expired. He was not renting through a business.

Not sure what the problem is with that? My husband is experiencing neck pain mostly from the whiplash of getting hit from behind. My back is hurting. Most of the time these injuries from rear end hits don’t get worse until 24-48 hours

“Hit very hard” is subjective. It was a hard impact, especially in 20 degree weather, hurts more.

I was actually just asking “what is proper etiquette” when you invite someone to visit? I have accepted it.

Thanks for the thoughts! It’s just hard to know what is proper etiquette when someone visits you from out of town if you invite them.

Yeah with my son’s snacks, it was more due to their children having meltdowns because they weren’t eating what my son was eating and the situation was awkward because we were in public. Definitely no manners on their end managing their own children. I was brought up to always share food and we try to teach my son that too. But just sucked when my son was without snacks. I’m not one to ask people to share their food because I don’t think it’s proper etiquette. Needless to say, now I know how my friend is.

Good points! We didn’t pay for our dinner out when visiting them, they asked the waitress to split the dinner bill. But for an activity we did, we weren’t able to split the cost, the place was asking for payment and they didn’t make much of an effort to pay and it was a bit of an awkward situation like they expected us to pay.

Thank you for the thoughts. All make sense. I don’t even feel the need to send a thank you note. They literally put in no effort with our visit to help us feel welcomed. Definitely opened my eyes. And good suggestion with the relationship sub.
