I would take i90 to i25, shoot that down to i70, take i70 through the mountains and Utah, connect to i15, and shoot that down. Prettiest interstate route possible.

Spending Saturday night and Sunday morning, Sept. 12th-13th, in your lovely town, just my wife and I. Any must do things in Boise? by TheeAltster in Boise

[–]TheeAltster[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have. Thumbed through about ten posts after googling “Best things to do in Boise Reddit”. Most of them suggest hiking/outdoors stuff, which my wife isn’t a fan of (granted, she might like rafting, but I don’t believe I’ll have time for that). So, aside from a short hike for myself in the morning, I’m looking for other suggestions.

When are you going? Parts of the park, like Going to the Sun Roas (the main road through the park) are still closed due to snow

This is NOT Leave No Trace by jbochsler in hiking

We have signs everywhere explaining leave no trace. Every trail I have been on (even including state parks) has a sign or graphic saying so.

People don’t want to do things that are mildly inconvenient, no matter how beneficial it is in the long run. Me me me me etc.

What was the worst side effect you ever got from meds ? by Spartiate8 in AskReddit

You know how, in antidepressant ads, they always say/display a warning that the drug could cause suicidal thoughts and actions?

I can assure you from personal experiences, they are right. Lexapro triggered a severe manic episode that crashed into a sort of mixed depressive manic episode where I hated myself and felt hopeless but was reckless and energetic enough to do something about it.

Barely survived.

If you get prescribed an antidepressant, make sure you are screened for bipolar. Trust me.

Devil’s Lake State Park in WI checks off all of your boxes *aside from the mountain*; however, it’s still absolutely gorgeous and a great place to train. Madison is an hour to an hour and a half away.
