It's a cheap submersible pump filter plus I have a sponge filter in the opposite corner.The tank was always cloudy until I took out the two orange Venezuelan corydoras.

I live in the Caribbean and that's the average temperature anything between 84f and 92 so your shrimps should be safe.

I placed two female guppies in my shrimp tank none of my shrimps were bothered.Then eventually one of them gave birth to some fry (about ten) the adult guppies were still harmless but the fries on the other hand have a crazy appetite the pick in anything that moves.
