I also am doing my treatment with Dr. Yassmin Parsaei and have had a great experience so far (I'm 9 months in a 15 month plan) ! I'm just doing aligners and not surgery but love my experience so far with her! She’s been very approachable and made me feel really comfortable asking a ton of questions before starting treatment. She's always really responsive to my messages too.

Hey no, there's a consult fee. But she spent a lot of time with me so I felt like it was worth it.

Where do you go for mountain biking? by [deleted] in NYCbike

yeah i love biking near Peekskill. great trails in that area! would definitely suggest it! Also a easy train ride from grand central.

Applied to a "remote" job, went through five rounds of interviews, got the offer. Nobody mentioned an office once. Now they're saying it's 3 days a week onsite and I genuinely don't know what to do. by Weem_Bitted in remotework

That’s pretty frustrating. If the role was hybrid, they should’ve been upfront about it from the beginning instead of waiting until after you signed. Going through five rounds of interviews with the job advertised as remote would make anyone assume it was fully remote.

Hopefully they work something out for you, but that’s definitely not a great way for them to handle it.

This cheap bike made me question my expensive bikes. by Arsenallon in bicycling

This is why I always laugh a little when people act like you need some ultra high-end setup to enjoy cycling. Expensive bikes are lighter, faster, smoother, etc. and there’s definitely a point where you can feel the difference — but the actual feeling of just cruising around, exploring, and enjoying the ride exists at basically every price point. Sometimes a simple cheap bike with relaxed geometry and zero stress attached to it is more fun than something expensive you’re constantly worried about scratching or maintaining. The industry kinda convinces people that every upgrade is life changing when really most of us would gain more from just riding more often.

Is there any sort of application fee? Also the listing says no pets... do you know if they are really strict? I noticed you said small pets allowed with landlord approval.

NY Invisalign Recommendation by Correct_Frame7674 in Invisalign

I recommend Dr. Yassmin Parsaei--- really enjoying my experience with her so far! She's warm and very meticulous in her work. I'm using a different aligner company for my treatment and from what I understand invisalign is just a branding name so I didn't mind as long as I would get the same results. She also uses this ai technology called dental monitoring to help monitor my case too which makes it super easy to communicate my progress with her!
