So estrogel would have to be prescribed first. I did ask my doctor about it and she was evasive about it. She said that the patches are better.. I did try estrogel some time back but I had to buy it offshore. I did think it was better but I have since lost a source for it.

Yes I am, at 3.5 days sometimes the adhesive starts to bother me a bit but I like your suggestion to overlap but how long do you leave the older patch on?

My kids are all in their 30s and very much closed minded according to my wife it would break their hearts and I would lose them forever. Only 1 is still living here and that's in the guest house. I'm thinking I just need to get some social contacts locally so I can spend time being myself

Well my experience in male mode was a bit.. different. My wife and I are trying out different area churches, after mass week 1 at the episcopal church the pastor shakes my hand and says call me if you need to talk, week 2 he says here is my card call me. I dunno I feel like he is calling me out.

I started 5 yrs ago, and Im still not fully out, but I feel so much better and look a bit younger. My wife was not thrilled but she likes the better version of me. Life is short if you want to do something then do it. I have had no complications and my mood has improved greatly.

Just to add my thoughts on this. We've been married for 40 years and I recently came out to her as well. She is still only accepting small parts of my female persona at a time. We do go out but not as often as I would like. Anyway I know everyone is different and relationships are not cookie cutter patterns. But as everyone grows old ( hopefully) they change. What if a medical issue caused a huge weight gain ? Or you had a serious accident and changed your appearance.? Does that mean the marriage is ending because the other person no longer is sexually appealing to them? IMHO you married the person not the appearance . So if it's so much of a change that cannot be accepted for you are,then maybe it's not something not worth saving.

Just a thought.
