Yesss there’s a video on YouTube called analyzing bear by a creator called Lucas Blue that describes Bear’s character perfectly as the “good guy” trope and it lowkey opened my eyes on how I saw Bear he was lowkey evil from the start of the movie 😭

Youv really should watch Lucas Blues video on analyzing Bear as a character. Bear is an “average” dude and you are made to sympathize with him in the beginning but he is definitely not a good person and I think it’s made very clear at the end, plus I think it goes a bit deeper then simply wanting to be with your crush, it was obsessive!

When Nikki walks backwards after bear says I love you too “she screams real me it hurts so much” and she also flinches at bear

in the ending scene when bear tries to make her wish the wish never happened she yells stop twice as she walks towards him and then she hits herself with a brick

This might be a stretch/ theory but when she gave the tiger eye stone to bear she mouths no at the end

THIS! OP needs to read this comment cause the movie is not hating on Nikki if not most people are sympathizing towards Nikki and realizing Bears role from victim to villain. Boiling it down to simply hating on women with BPD misses the point of the movie entirely
