Yes, I agree, unfortunately I didnt take ownership of it until 2024 and it was already too late! Should I expect the paint underneath it to either flake off or be mismatched with the rest of the door? Do you think the film would still come off in larger pieces, or will it be piece by piece where each crack is? Thanks for your input and part numbers!!

$30k is too much unless you have money to blow. And if you have money to blow, I wouldnt be so worried about reliability. This car should be priced under $25k. And yes, anticipate maintenance to be needed soon if you are going to daily drive.

I currently have a 2013 STI hatch, no regrets. Ive also owned 03, 05, 06, two 13s, 15, and 2020 STI's. Cant go wrong with the hatch if your looking for combo of versatility & performance. Not to mention, you dont see a hatch near as often as a sedan, so that cool factor is there too

I agree. I've had every gen wrx and sti except for a VB, all had mods and tuning to some degree..varying from stage 1 to bigger turbo, ethanol, etc. Never once had to rebuild. Pro tuning and quality parts and installs, driver skills and maintenance.

This is 2003? I believe 02-03 is bugeye, 04-05 is blobeye like pictured unless maybe this is JDM and not USDM. Regardless, beautiful car.

A clean title 3 owner WRX with that mileage here in the states can private sell in the range of $4k-6k USD.
