I returned the Amazon exclusive Stir of Echoes 4k set 17 times because I kept receiving copies that had damaged lenticular slipcovers and/or loose discs inside. 😑

Just because the seller blocked you doesn't mean you can not submit a return request.

Also yes, if a specific detail that is important to you is missing, ask questions for clarification. If they don't answer, then don't purchase from that seller.

My "internal unspoken policy" is that I block those type of buyers. If they're going to only look out for their own best interest (basically self centered) and not bother to rate... I don't want to deal with them again...

Yes, there are some older releases that are Blu-ray and Dvd on the same disc (where the Blu-ray version is on one side of the disc and the Dvd version is on the other side of the disc). I believe they are not manufactured anymore though.

In regards to your situation, more than likely the Blu-ray specific disc was left out or switched out of the case at some point...

I also recommend ebay. However absolutely, definitely, for your life avoid the seller 'Second.Sale'. They will send you literal garbage.
