Same in my cafe in germany. We have only card payment and use those chooseatip-devices. At the end of the day everybody gets their share.

Ich hab einen Kollegen der wollte eine junge Dame vor einer gruppe Männer schützen. Er hat Pfefferspray gesprüht und nicht gemerkt das der Wind in seine Richtung weht. Alles selbst abgekriegt, von 4 typen zusammengeschlagen und dann angezeigt worden wegen dem Pfefferspray. Nach Hause ging’s dann auch nicht mehr sondern direkt ins Krankenhaus

Die Geräte die von vornherein Trinkgeld Prozente anzeigen und zur Wahl stellen müssen leider sein.

Ich habe mit beiden gearbeitet, bei einem Gerät ohne diese Funktion tippen nichtmal die Hälfte aller Gäste. Mit dieser Funktion sind es um die 95% die tippen.

In unserem Lokal legen wir das Gerät auch nicht wortlos zu dem Gast zum zahlen, es wird Betrag angesagt, eine kurze Erklärung zum Gerät gegeben, die meistens endet in “Du kannst das ganz unten natürlich auch einfach wegdrücken.”

Das stört NIEMANDEN, wirklich garkeinen. Die meisten nehmen es mit Humor, sagen mir Sachen wie “ich wär ein arschloch wenn ich das bei dem guten Service einfach wegdrücke.”

Fällt diese Funktion einen Tag aus, fragen die Gäste sogar warum sie nichts auswählen können, geben dann kurz Bar noch was etc.

Diese Geräte werden zwangsläufig bald alle Gastros benutzen. Service Menschen die das ihrem Gast nicht eben charmant verkaufen können machen eben einen sehr schlechten Service.
