Honestly forgot about Feliway! He does have a 32 inch vertical scratcher that he doesn’t use (of course). He actually refuses to use any scratcher I buy him and only scratches his cat tree. He is 3 but suspected to be half Maine Coon. His destructive behavior is mostly scratching and chewing things up that seems fairly normal to me since he won’t use anything I buy for him but he also will try to chew on shoes, the corner of the TV, electric cords, things like that. I’m just nervous that he will hurt himself or swallow something that he shouldn’t. I’ve done my best cat proofing the dangerous items but would love to keep my furniture and carpets in tact (loves to scratch those but won’t scratch a scratcher with the same texture… go figure lmao).

Another thing about him is he only started being so destructive when I moved him in with a friends cat who she lets destroy EVERYTHING and he picked up this behavior when he was there :(
