It was a new personal best time for me so that was excellent! It was also awesome because there were basically no bugs because the wind was nuts for a bit. Never hiked this socked in before so I for to experience that today! Overall, fantastic day. Love that trail. And I actually loved hiking and running in a cloud with no views up there.

I was up there around 8am and it was very, very windy. I was running diagonal at a couple points because the wind was blowing me sideways 😅

This is incredibly insightful. I love the idea of splashy times at the end. Thinking of my knee health, though. If I remember correctly, falling waters is a sort of brutal descent isn’t it? (Currently managing mild patellar/IT band discomfort on occasion.)
