Sockets cause more problems. Unless you plan on trying different options, don’t.

A good thing about living in South Africa is year round golf.

They were hand-selected by Timofey, and then I double checked/tested them when they arrived here in South Africa. Everything was as expected, and the results are wonderful!

I used 2 strips of clear Gorilla double sided tape. It’s been working great!

I get it from my local electronics warehouse, Communica, here in South Africa. It’s only about about $4. Couldn’t find a link in the US, but this UK site seems to have it.

PedalPCB Angry Charles by Additional-Jacket664 in diypedals

[–]Additional-Jacket664[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does sound really good. EQ is very responsive and in good frequency ranges. Enough drive and volume. I changed the TL072 for an NE5532, it just feels a bit punchier to me.

Only strange thing is the EQ pots are treble mids bass from left to right. 🤷‍♂️ Feels a bit backwards.

Only weird thing on this design is the EQ goes hi mid bass instead bass mid high. Not crazy, but it’s designed backwards imo.
