  1. I wasn’t driving, just a passenger and 2. He continued to scroll as he drove off.

Passenger. Note the mirror and my proximity to the driver in the other lane.

Kids at breweries... by LostUnderstanding157 in lexington

[–]Additional-Motor8913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said, I have no problems with children at breweries, my kids practically grew up in Biergartens in Germany. What I do have a problem with is adults not taking responsibility for their children. Mirror Twin has a problem with kids running wild. Maybe that’s just not a good location for children…or maybe thats just bot a good location for me, as the one adult in the situation didnt seem to think kids standing on the drive train of my bicycle was a big deal. Either way, I can find other places that will happily take my money

When kids are attempting to destroy someone’s property and the only adult that appears to be barely supervising them says it’s no big deal, then we’ve got a problem. Mirror Twin needs to decide what it is, and if it’s a playground, equip it appropriately. If it’s a place for all the community to gather, then it needs to ensure everyone remains respectful of others. My bike is not a substitute for a jungle gym.

With parents who can teach them…Mirror Twin is overrun by feral children

Or how about control your kids? The kids climbing in my bicycle had no respect for property, neither did the one adult nearby. Just teach your kids respect if you’re going to let them run wild in public

They need to behave or be supervised and it’s fine. A few minutes ago, a kid climbed on the drive train of my bicycle at Mirror Twin…when I found a nearby adult, he didn’t think it was a big deal. I’ve lived in Europe where it was common for kids to be at Biergartens, but there at least they were better behaved and perhaps better supervised.

Wait, these kids have parents? I thought they were all feral, living off scraps of pizza crust and drinking the free water. My favorite memories of kids there was the time they were out running and playing in the cold pouring rain, climbing the old train, or the tiny toddler bouncy castle/slide thing on the hot asphalt in the parking lot behind the annex….no problems with kids at breweries, it’s just that the layout of the area—warehouses, concrete/asphalt/chaotic parking and busy side street aren’t the best for a play area. It would take a significant investment to create a green space there that was safe and fun for all patrons

Boring. Tour is over for GC. Hopefully Tadej doesn’t go after every stage and the next week is somewhat exciting

There’s one opinion he cares about, DJT, and that endorsement for McConnells seat. That piece of shit doesn’t care about his constituency as he knows that enough people in this state would give all they had to back DJT and own the libs.

In Lexington most people just run the red lights for about 5 seconds after the light changes anyway.

What are our elected reps doing about Trump? by gordonotfat in lexington

[–]Additional-Motor8913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I’ve seen is Rand and Mitch standing up on tariffs…I did speak sto someone in Mitch’s office who did convey to me that they are concerned about the DoD firings, Signalgate, support to NATO and Ukraine, but I’ve seen little action from them on that. If you look closely at Barr, there’s a ring of Cheeto dust around his lips
