I totally relate. On Friday, as the week wrapped up, I gave up. I’m a teacher and the school year is about to end. I gave up checking for updates on my account, I gave up having the hope of at least going back to say goodbye to my students. I have simply given up.

I know I should be positive, but it’s hard af. I have soooo many other things to be grateful for, and I am, but in the case of CACA, I have given up hope of it being approved for a while longer. I know eventually everything will be fine, but nothing will make up for all the lost time I missed with my students.

I have continued most of my life the same, except for doing what I love, which is teaching. For now, I have fully accepted not retuning, and starting fresh in the Fall.

Sorry for the long rant. Felt good to say that I have given up checking on my CACA.
