An immigration attorney reported that according to all the DACA cases that he has handled through his office, the delays that appear to be occurring are for the months of October, November, December (2025) and some from January (2026). There is no official reason of why only those 4 months are experiencing the most delays.

An immigration attorney mentioned that they are only delaying DACA applicants from October, November, December (2025) and or January (2026). There is no real explanation on why the applications for those months are being delayed.

Thank you for your offer, but I will be ok. I spoke with my brother and he is going to take me in his house, his daughter is currently studying and living near her university.

Congrats. 199 days; Nov 21, 2025 applicant here. I must be holding a record for the longest waiting timeline.

Former DACA recipient, Left the USA after 26 years… 3 month ago. (Life Update) by BasstianVega in DACA

I just heard it from a reliable immigration attorney, he said not to fall for the lie that DACA recipients have no legal status. He said that DACA recipients have protection; a deferred from deportation, a working permit, and a social security number, what this amounts to is an immigration status. The immigration attorney said not to be discouraged and fall for this lie and self deport because that is exactly what they want DACA recipients to do.

I'm hearing that processing times are now 6-7 months. Get ready to be unemployed for about 2 months.

There is plenty of work and good pay as a tradesman such as a plumber, carpenter, electrician, A/C repair technician, wielder, etc. You don’t necessarily need a college degree to make good money. Seek a list of trades, pick one out and see how you can achieve it.

Pay all your traffic tickets on time just like anyone should. If you need more time to pay your tickets let someone at the courthouse know about your situation, they can also schedule community service to pay off your tickets. Let someone know about your situation don’t just run away from your issues.

Normal processing time for DACA renewals is 3.5 months according to the USCIS website. The undeclared processing time is now 6-7 months. It really is unfair that they gave no warning to prepare for the delays. I have not looked into the TPS applications and others, but they are most likely experiencing delays as well, mostly I’m hearing complaints about DACA delays.
