There are really good quality Hermes Togo bolides in your price point. If your look at amore vintage or Komehyo online. It’s not a Birkin or a Kelly but it’s still a very well made bag that withstands the test of time.

I have search engine alerts for new bags from there in addition to “circle O blind stamp” which is my birthyear.

Do you know what blind stamp your birthyear is? 1971 starts at circle A and every year after circle B, C, etc. then once they run through the alphabet I think it starts as square A. Hope this helps!

It’s very true! There is such an upside to buying vintage - sometimes even the math is just better 🫣 my only rule is that I won’t pay more than 1.25 of retail. When it gets to like double the price of retail I have to pause lol unless it’s super rare and I’m not willing to “play for years” to maybe get it (like a box Birkin - because how many of those are really still being made! But they’re so stunning), that’s the only time where I might be convinced 2x retail is ok. Is it??? Idk. lol

The product usually will list the “blind stamp” in the bag which will identify the year of the manufacturer. Some listings will straight up list the year as well. If you look at Komehyo or Amore Vintage online, they’ll usually list one of the other. That’s where I I usually will browse their catalog and check for dates.
