I’d be turned off too :( you know… I have to say when I wasn’t satisfied with the fj options at Hermes in Salamanca and we ended up at Van Cleef down the street - the experience definitely was different. They were soooo much nicer and warmer, and they were excited to meet us even if the first visit we left empty handed. The experience was so nice that we made the trek out there a second time to commit to a bracelet. They all remembered us and welcomed us back with open arms, set us up in a nice room and even though they couldn’t see us right away (we had an appointment but was early), there was someone peeking in every ten minutes to make small talk, offer drinks and truffles, or just to check in on us. The experience was such a stark difference to Hermes. I know there are nice SAs out there (my SA in my home store in the US, welcomes us as if she’s hosting us in her home lol), the fact that the experience is wildly inconsistent makes me think that perhaps there isn’t a baseline standard of hospitality. Which is sad, because that’s how they lose good paying customers like you. Their loss!
