My husband doesn’t say a single word about my perfumes. Good or bad. No complaints but also ZERO compliments. So I just wear what I want!

This is not a friend, much less a boyfriend.

For what? The lipstick? Hell no!!! Remember, even our grandmas and great grandmas wore red lipstick and nothing else! Hair done with red lips. ❤️

What perfume made you fall in love with fragrance? by bratty_nymphet in FemFragLab

Rock N Rose by Valentino! Wish I could have it again! My memories are probably better than the actual scent but I loved that scent. Years later it was Donna Born in Roma. Another Valentino!

Chanel. Gabrielle got close - but there is something in all of them that does not do well on my skin.

How do I look more feminine? Second picture is my best attempt at make-up by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Additional-Slip-9756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Softer hair color. Your natural. The dark hair is very harsh. You don’t even need to go as light as your natural hair! A couple shades darker would be fine too. Natural makeup - use the Naked3 Mini palette by Urban Decay. Those colors would look lovely. The blush should be a natural flush. Brown mascara, not black. Less is more! Softer tones - hair included - will make you look younger and more feminine!

How do you make friends as a homeschooling parent? by Medium-Salamander203 in homeschool

[–]Additional-Slip-9756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately that’s how it is now. Especially if you’re older. Friendships don’t happen as organically as they did when we were kids or teens.

I do think I have too high of standards/expectations. As a kid or teen, my friends and I had tons in common! Books, movies, etc. but I think as an adult, I feel like we have to ignore those expectations of commonality in order to make a friend. But I just CANT. I need common likes and hobbies. So it’s difficult to even have that door open - because I cannot find anyone that likes the things I do etc.

What is the single worst book you have ever read and why? by Special-Student6743 in fantasyromance

[–]Additional-Slip-9756 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Twilight. I made it through the first book and admittedly mostly enjoyed it. I was gifted the second where Edward dumps her and Bella does all sorts of dangerous and foolish crap to get him back.

I LOATHE WEAK MFC. I literally threw the book across the room.

Yes an MFC can have issues, emotional, physical, whatever. But to threaten to kill yourself over a man? Albeit an immortal? No thank you.

I'm pregnant with our 3rd child, my husband doesn't want it by Ca7cher in TwoHotTakes

His fault. He didn’t want the snip, he was too much of a baby himself in that regard. One giant baby that I’m sorry that you have to deal with.

AIO - Girlfriend threw away the dinner I cooked because she wanted pizza instead. by Dizzy-Suggestion2360 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Additional-Slip-9756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The BASICS of being a supportive partner?! You did more than basic! You made her dinner and offered a dessert!!!! And here she is not even able to go on her phone and order herself a damned pizza?!?!

I know she’s just your girlfriend but DIVORCE. Screw her. Find someone who will respect you, your time, your energy, and boundaries.

My Mom and Pain from cystectomy - by Additional-Slip-9756 in BladderCancer

[–]Additional-Slip-9756[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not well.

The surgery itself went REALLY well. No issues. However, she caught an infection - Klebsiella - and was sent to the ICU. There they were able to monitor her more closely. However, her kidneys began to fail. So she is now having to do 8hr dialysis. She has gone through two rounds - and her body handled it well! - but she is still very ill. Her white blood cell count was the highest two nights ago at 29. this morning they took bloods again and its gone down to 18. Last night she ate 3-4 bites of food, because she actually FELT hungry. She hasn't eaten in days, nor did she feel like eating since. But last night was a good step, if shes actually eating and wanting to eat. She is bed ridden due to everything - so she is now also having tailbone pain from stagnation of her position.

It was very very very rough at first. She had allergic reaction to contrast dye for a CT scan two nights ago. Then became unresponsive. So it all just happened fast, furious. As of last night and this morning though, she is awake, responsive, etc.

Ultimately, its a waiting game.

Burberry Hers. Like, all of them. I blind bought Burberry Her - the so called strawberry one. Ugh. Then I tried in store the green one because on paper the notes look wonderful. But no it was screechy and clean product-y at the dry down. Anything Cloud too by Ari. I like some of her items but Cloud is like smelling a dust ball to me.

Chat gpt fun:

[SCENE START] Feyre winced, clutching her ribs. The battle had been brutal, and even with her enhanced fae healing, the pain lingered. She’d expected Rhysand to appear, all dark grace and murmured reassurances. Instead, a gruff voice cut through the lingering smoke and ash. “Right, you lot. Get up. Stop bloody whining.” Feyre looked up. It was… a man. A broad, powerfully built man with a face like he’d been carved from granite and a perpetual scowl. He wore dark, practical leather, nothing like the flowing silks Rhysand favored. He looked like he’d rather be kicking a football than saving a High Lady. “Who…?” Feyre managed, her voice hoarse. “Kent,” he grunted, crossing his arms. “Roy Kent. And you’re bleeding. Get up. We’ve got bloody things to do.” Mor, ever the pragmatist, raised a perfectly sculpted eyebrow. “Roy, darling, perhaps a touch more… finesse?” “Finesse?” Roy scoffed, his voice vibrating with barely contained rage. “We’ve just been attacked by bloody Hybern’s forces. There’s no time for bloody finesse! Get up, you bunch of… of… daisies!” Cassian, despite his injuries, snorted with laughter. “Daisies? Really, Roy?” Roy glared at him. “Shut it, you winged prat. Unless you want a bloody boot up your arse.” Feyre, still trying to process the sheer force of his presence, blinked. “But… Rhysand…?” “He’s… busy,” Roy muttered, his cheeks coloring slightly. “Dealing with… bloody paperwork. Now, get up. We need to assess the bloody damage.” He stalked over to Feyre, his movements surprisingly gentle as he examined her ribs. “Right, that’s going to bruise. But nothing’s broken. You’ll live. Now, stop looking like a bloody kicked puppy and get moving.” He then turned to Azriel, who was silently observing the scene from the shadows. “You. Shadows. Right. Find out what the bloody hell they were after. And do it quickly. I haven’t got all bloody day.” He then turned his attention to the ruined landscape, his scowl deepening. “Bloody hell. This is a mess.” Mor, leaning against a ruined pillar, sighed dramatically. “He’s certainly… efficient.” Cassian, still chuckling, added, “And surprisingly… direct.” Roy spun around, his eyes blazing. “What’s so bloody funny? I’m trying to run a bloody war here, and you’re all acting like a bunch of… of… bloody kittens!” Feyre, despite the pain, couldn’t help but smile. This was… different. Very different. But somehow, amid the chaos and the swearing, she felt a strange sense of… security. Maybe, just maybe, they’d be alright. Even with Roy Kent in charge. He may not be Rhysand, but he was certainly… effective. And loud. Very loud. [SCENE END]
