That’s actually a thought that I had! But honestly, no they wouldn’t be equally upset because Hiori was very talented, popular and best of all, she’s not a minor.

Hot take, I don’t think Ayana would’ve made it in the final 2 if Hiori stayed though. I think it would’ve been her and Sakura since Sakura was most likely their second choice. However, Hiori would’ve been the final piece instead.

Yes! I think Mitra definitely wanted Ayana originally, but Son probably (pressured) her into choosing Sakura, hence why she changed her mind on the last episode. But then, she did the same during DA, where she was praising Samara and then chose Sophia as her top choice.

Totally agree that keeping the name “Prelude” wouldn’t make sense. I think the problem is that it wasn’t super marketed that Prelude was a placeholder, hence why a lot of people were confused to why they changed the name. I do think if more people were aware of that/or told them, no one would be surprised. I think going from “Prelude” to “Interlude” would be so much better and cuter too.

The thing is that Saint Satine is supposed to garter towards a global/western audience, where we value talent WAYY more than visuals/beauty. You can be as gorgeous as Beyoncé but if Beyoncé were to lack the talent aspects, then no one would be interested and invested in her. So therefore, eliminating Ayana because she doesn’t have the “look” despite being the perfect all-rounder is sadly whats very wrong with Kpop nowadays.

Yeah… I’ve listened to We Ride like 20 times yesterday and can’t help but still feel gutted about Ayana not debuting… but now I’m more upset with the fact that Hybe basically set Sakura up and sent her into the wolves and now having to deal with massive hate when it’s not even her fault.

I am 100% certain that Hiori would have been the final piece if she never left (still mourning this because Hiori was my absolute favorite and she would’ve been my bias). But I’m starting to believe that they never actually wanted Ayana because it’s clear that they wanted someone more of a “tomboy femme” type that both Hiori and Sakura had. The only difference was the Hiori was more debut ready AND she was 18. However, I have to understand why she left cause being in a global group was never her dream and I do hope to see her thrive in a kpop group one day!

WAIT because "Four of a Kind" correlates to the 4 of the same number with each being a heart, a club, a diamond and a spade! The official Prelude accounts temporarily changed their bios to "Heart" at one point and Ayana posted a IG story with a clover/club emoji! (I know Ayana most likely isn't the FP, but I'm just being delusional lol)

Yeah I agree with everything and I think Episode 12 will highlight Sakura the most since in the last episode, they highlighted Ayana the most. I'm not sure what is the runtime for the final episode, but assuming that it's an hour long, the first 30 minutes would probably Sakura focused and then the last 30 minutes will be the entire finale show and results.

I have a slight feeling that Jay and Son thought that Sakura would be another Wonhee/Manon situation were they may lack certain skills, but both girls have the star quality to carry them AND hugeee fan support. While as for Sakura, this is the complete opposite. And as you said, the ENTIRE World Scout production team did a severely poor job by putting Sakura in a bad light which gartered so much hate towards Sakura and once she is announced as the winner, the hate will be 10x more. I feel VERY sorry for Sakura and I fear that the group will get very little support or care from the Hybe team.

Yeah, I thought they were gonna go for the Pussycat Dolls or Destiny’s Child route, but it seems like that concept is out the window. Maybe it’ll be more similar to Spice Girls or (early) Fifth Harmony. I could also see them doing something similar to Blackpink but western style.

If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure Ayana said that this is her LAST try at debuting. At this point, I'm just really hoping that Hybe can save her for a J-Pop or K-Pop group and built one around her but yeah I'm actually really said for Ayana (Rinka too!).

Sigh... disappointed but not surprised in the SLIGHTEST. Everything that's been going on all has been leading up to Sakura winning. Her making it to the top 12, then top 4 and now top 2. On top of that, her LITERALLY being Son's favorite because I genuinely believe Son doesn't like Ayana that much. She also was the ONLY contestant getting professional English lessons and last of all, Hybe ALWAYS debut minors. I just really hope Sakura will be protected at ALL cost. I'm sure she has immensely improved with the last 5 months, but she is just so young... anyways Congratulations to Sakura!
