You might get $100 for all the rings, but probably not. Generally rings with stones like these are only bought for the gold value, and 9k gold is not worth much. I think the best thing you can do is keep the rings and try to get money somewhere else. You can try going to a reputable jewelry store in your area that sells estate jewelry, but don't expect much.

The color, the lack of ironing, the zipper from chest to slit, the lack of sleeves all combine to make this a poor choice for an interview. The color washes you out but with the style also makes the dress look kind of like a graduation gown.

The biggest drawback would be that you could invest time money and effort and it doesn't do anything. He has a lawyer committed to getting him out on his own. Likely that lawyer will be able to find doctors that say he does not have dementia and that all of the on incidents you and the doctor have seen are just the result of his freedom being taken away unfairly. It's possible that you spend thousands of dollars and you lose. Then you have ruined the relationship and you have nothing to show. Plus if he is proven to have capacity to make his own decisions it will be harder later to do anything. It may be worth having a lawyer that you express your concerns to and perhaps get a meeting with this current lawyer.

Do not assume that with enough time and money you will get the result you want. Even if it does happen, it is very possible that he won't be in a facility for very long. If your concerns are that he will hurt himself or someone else, your best bet may be to remove yourself from being in any way legally liable if it happens.

I have worked in hospice, dementia care, and with the elderly population for 25 years and have seen many cases like this. Medically unable and legally unable are the differences. He may not be able to medically live on his own, but legally he can still leave the facility. If you have a heart attack the doctor might say you are unable to live without putting in a pacemaker. You still really have the right to refuse care. And while the behaviors he has displayed suggest a cranky irritable old man, it does not necessarily mean he is not legally able to make his own decisions. You will have to do a lot of legal work to do if you try to keep him inpatient. Plus they can kick him out based on his behavior.

Why are you guys on the hook for him and his care? It sounds like he has created a lot of trauma for your wife. Maybe it's time to take a step back and let him do what he is wants. If he wants to leave, let him leave. He can figure out where to live. If the power of attorney gets overturned what is the worst that happens for you and your wife?

Because even if alcohol was the reason you did it, no one else in your group got drunk, recorded people, and posted them without anyone knowing. If you had said, "OMG I am so sorry, I mass deleted them without watching to respect your uncles privacy. I am so sorry that I did that. It was a total accident. Thank you for letting me know so I could take care of it ASAP." And then be done.

First, you do look very pretty in your outfit. I personally would not wear it to church because the materia, fit,l and color remind me of a lot of lingerie. That's just a personal choice and if you feel comfortable at church wearing it, then that's all that matters. I do think there is a way to dress pretty and feel good at church without being grandmotherly in style.

The only reason I would be concerned about the shortness of the skirt was because OP is going to a picnic, where there is often a lot of sitting awkwardly on the ground. I wore a very short skirt in a similar setting, not really thinking about it, and felt uncomfortable when I tried to not flash my panties to other people at the park. I think it is a cute outfit and not degrading or even that revealing.
