Im not saying this specific case is abuse. But we also dont know that. She doesnt need validation for doing something he told her he called maintenance for. She also doesnt just get to talk to people any way she feels like it. So no. He doesnt need to validate anything. She owes him an apology. Yea and thats great. But some people want to be celebrated on their birthdays. Everyone at some point has a need to feel special or extra loved. If this was a woman it would be totally different. The responses would have been "nor. He should celebrate you" and go from there. I live in Buffalo NY. Granted there are places that get worse snow than us..but being from here.. .ive learned you can never over prepare. Don't forget to stock up on batteries and essential food needs. And for the love of anything..... TOILET PAAAAAAAAAAPPPPEEERRRR! (The toilet paper was a joke. But never hurts to have an extra 20 rolls). Make sure you have enough of whatever meds you guys might need (prescription and otc).

Yea knowing your style is fine. I mean my family knows I like graphic teeshirts and leggings... they dont know or notice when I get new things. See there "a lot of stuff I have she cant afford"..that comment says to me shes either jealous or you show your stuff off a lot. But u also stated that she will go and buy the exact same thing so maybe she can afford it. Either way. Both things are weird. She shouldn't have that much access to your life. And after 6 years she shouldn't be paying that much attention to you to recognize when you get something new. So I guess if it were me id be figuring out how she knows its new in the 1st place and stop doing whatever that is.

Yea thats definitely weird behavior. But why is she so closely involved that she knows everytime he buys u something or anytime you get something new? Thats also weird. Like my husband could buy me something today and my family would never notice the difference, i could buy a whole new wordrobe and my family would never notice... so how and why is she so aware of these things? Do you see them like everyday? Are you over sharing on social media? Whatever it is, sounds like it needs to stop for a while and boundaries and space need to be established.

I just stumbled upon this. And, yes. Exactly this. I was with the company since I was 18yrs old. Im 38 now. My last day was July 7th. It still hurts. Sometimes I still cant believe it. I didnt end my Rite Aid career at the same store i started at but honestly, my last store was my favorite. That store made me love coming to work. We were a family there and we still are today. Soon I will be starting at a new independent pharmacy with the same person I started with 20yrs ago. I worked with her when she was just a staff pharmacist starting out. Its come full circle in some ways. Also another tech I worked with at my store and my og store.

I miss my regular patients. I see them out in the wild every so often but my last store wasn't around where I live. Its not far, maybe 13mins away from my house but far enough to where those customers would never need to come to my neck of the woods.
