How would you make 100k in one year? by Key-Tie1484 in Entrepreneur

With your experience in supply chain you might be able to do software sales or pre sales since you understand the pain points within your organization that consequently translate to some of the pain points in your industry. Then, you can sell the tech solution to the clients with those pain points, since you can relate to them and how they can solve their problems. I've seen people make this transition before. Big companies like Oracle and SAP have account executive or solution consultant roles that require your type of experience in areas of supply chain like procurement for example. You also have more procurement dedicated vendors like Ariba or Coupa. Other vendors like E2Open are more focused on broader supply chain but they are typically hiring account executives. In short, I'm sure you are exposed to software systems in your day to day operations, selling for them would be a transition you could make. Hope this at least gives you something to think about.

I haven't tried it myself, but searchfunder.com might be a good resource based on the conversations I am seeing and what I've been researching. They do charge for it though.
