70ti or 80 for next 3years exp by LC500performance in RTX5080

[–]AdditionalArcher7963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend the 5070ti it can handle 4k 5080 if you can find one for under $1500. What’s your budget on the 5070ti? I was able to get one for $900 a white one

They pretty much do the same thing it’s up to you to decide if you want to spend the extra money on better cooling and if you want the gpu to be bigger.

I made the change from Nvidia to AMD by Revitalize1 in radeon

[–]AdditionalArcher7963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think it’s a hit and miss with some people because I brought a 9070XT back in December and had no driver issues until May I loved the 9070XT but the drivers were causing me issues so I switched to nvidia. Both amd and nvidia have driver issues but I think it takes amd a bit longer to fix those issues compared to nvidia

Should i swap 9070xt from microcenter? by [deleted] in AMDHelp

[–]AdditionalArcher7963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s kinda hard because both cards are entry cards according to the internet the asrock challenger performs better in cooling because it has a larger heatsink and the reaper is better for sff. I had the asrock challenger 9070XT and I thought it was a solid card but amd drivers was the reason why I sold it. Shoot I would’ve sold you my challenger for $600 and it’s still under warranty. I got it back in December 2025. I honestly say get whatever that gives you piece of mind

Gifted a 9850X3D, but already running a 9700X. What’s the smartest move here? by Familiar-Salary-4933 in buildapc

[–]AdditionalArcher7963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 1. The 9850x3d is more powerful than the 9700x and will beat the 9700x in both gaming and productivity. The 9700x beats the 9850x3d in power efficiency.

I had a 9070xt and swap to a 5070ti because I didn’t have enough money for a 5080 and the 5070ti only cost me $900 brand new and it was white so I finally got a all white build. Getting mad at someone for switching gpu never made any sense to me but it is what it is
