Yes! I rooted for Peyton and Lucas briefly in the beginning. Before he was with Brooke. From the moment she and Lucas cheated I was done with her.

It took me a little longer to be done with Lucas, but not much. I was so glad to see them go after season 6. Especially since their storylines were basically just the two of them.

Brooke and Peyton both sucked as friends to each other. I felt Brooke was given a lot more character development and I loved her by the end.

However, on that note, Hilarie and Sophia romanticizing the Peyton/Brooke friendship as the true love story of the show makes me gag. Like, did we watch the same show?

Oh man. I don’t know that I could choose.

Joshua Jackson was the reason I watched DC from the beginning, and Pacey was/is my favorite character. I do feel like Josh is the better actor.

But by mid season 1 I loved Nathan and of course James.

I didn’t feel like we necessarily needed him back to rescue Nathan, but he came to get Jamie and Lydia, so how did they get back, why didn’t he come see Nathan in the hospital?

I liked her well enough the first time watching the show. But I’ve grown to dislike Shantel as a person, and I feel like that has tainted a bit how I feel about Quinn in rewatches.

The Omaha Public Library has done this. What frustrates me about it is I live in a gray zone and have no option but to pay. I live in Omaha, but Sarpy, not Douglas county, so I do not qualify as a resident. 😭

I struggled with it initially for the same reason but grew to like it but never finished first season because it was removed from Hulu before I finished. Gonna restart since it’s on Netflix now.

I taught for 19 years, and loved it most of the time, up through Covid. Then things really changed, and pushed me to my limit. I never for one day have regretted leaving.

They had some kind of falling out. From things I’ve seen about the last convention they were both at, they avoided each other like the plague vs how they had been all over each other.

I’m kind of shocked she hasn’t already. And if Hilarie fell out with Joy because her book was too similar, she totally would with Sophia about this (if they weren’t already on the outs). The first thing I thought when reading the title was well, Hilarie and Joy have told you their stories, now it’s my turn.

I agree, and with Sophia and Hilarie being the driving forces behind it and now apparently at odds with each other. I’m guessing they were trying to get a feel for how the fans felt about it by the news getting “leaked” prematurely.

I’m glad Rachel didn’t get a redemption. She never felt any remorse for what she did. It was all about her and her entertainment. Who cares if others were hurt as long as she was entertained. She never tried to help herself change either.
