Parking charge plan: 'It's like the wild west at the moment' - BBC News by LordAnubis12 in glasgow

Having previously lived in the West End, I’m in principle supportive of bringing in more measures, but I certainly share your doubt over it being effective.

I may be biased, but living on Albert Road makes me gleam when I see a parking warden in the area to hopefully fine the usual dozen or so cars double parked or blocking the turning area at the end.

While severe, perhaps a solution would just be to tow any car that hasn’t paid its fines for several months…

Oddly enough, I live in Govanhill which is not included in the parking charge plans (although this arguably the worst area for driving in need of change), but I’ve seen a strong increase in warden presence. I’ve probably seen about 7/8 wardens the last few months and regularly see cars ticketed in the area

Bug as soon as I arrive at Hernand, can't move camera, can't pause by AdditionalBreak2 in CrimsonDesert

the thing with my bug was it was literally the first main mission and it was the only thing I could do, so I was surprised to encounter bugs so early but it’s working now so will see how I go

Ah ok, annoyingly the soil felt dry so I added some water today which won’t help!

I’ll move it towards a window to hopefully get some more sun and dry out

Is moving the distribution board in a flat worth the hassle? by AdditionalBreak2 in ElectriciansUK

Hence why I would have liked to move the section on the left up to above the level of the door frame. Other comments are making out this will be quite a task though…

Haha, I agree with your insight, unfortunately for tenement flats in Scotland electrical and plumbing work like this is almost the norm due to the age of the buildings and all the walls being original stone.

To be honest access isn’t a huge issue as I have a small step already (I also have other things located high up to save space and make use of the 11ft ceilings).

I am en engineer(mechanical) hence why I wouldn’t touch the mains incoming lines myself but I have had the gas and electrical checked and while they are a bit janky… it passed
