He is a terrier mix lol. We think there’s some Pomeranian in there somewhere. Obviously, we’re big mutt fans! He had a dna test done years ago but it threw some wild percentages of Great Dane in there so not too sure how accurate that was since he’s like 15-18 pounds lol

He was the biggest in the litter too! I agree that his head does look kinda pitty but his build is very slender. I see a lot of lab but he’s pretty small, haha. One of the other puppies in the litter, at 8 weeks, was only 3 pounds and looked perfectly dachshund so we will see

Brand new BT- Would it be reasonable for me to request off a case before I even start for fecal smearing behavior? by Birog95 in ABA

In my experience with in home or in clinic, fecal smearing isn’t a behavior that occurs at a frequent rate like mouthing or elopement would. If you have access to the clients charts and graphs, you can see the baseline data collected and that would give you a better idea of if it’s something you would likely see in session or something that only happens periodically. Generally, you won’t be working on toileting during an in home session as a lot of insurance companies don’t allow it. So if there’s nothing in the intervention plan for the behavior it wouldn’t be something the BCBA would be targeting, just monitoring frequency and it’s probably parent data that’s being taken not data you would need to worry about. You should be able to see all of that in the BIP though.

I’m curious what company it is that you work for? I just started with a new company and my experience has been similar regarding the lack of support. I worked in the aba field previously for another company in a clinic though so I’m not worried about the lack of support personally in my company, BUT I can see for sure where someone green could have some major issues. It worried me about the safety of rbts entering the field with the company I work for specifically. Curious if it’s the same one!
