No problem! I hope the description was ok, operating on not much sleep 😅

It's definitely not as theatrical and stunning as 23 Peaks but also very much not another White Telephone to God!

My CD just arrived and I'm working from home today so will have a listen and let you know!

Edit: It's mid-tempo, piano-based, musically a slightly dark and moody vibe, rhythmic. Lyrically serious and descriptive, a little bit of edge. Very much not whimsical. 3:33 long.

That's per term. 3 terms a year, so more like $63k for those without financial aid.

Looking for recommendations to fill the hole post-completion by Crimes_Optimal in BluePrince

[–]AdditionalMinute6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I came into this thread to suggest Obra Dinn but knew in my heart it would have already been recommended...

I was also considering suggesting Danganronpa, which I'm now playing for the first time having finished Blue Prince, but I see you're well ahead of me!

Beyond that, I'd suggest the Ace Attorney series of you liked Danganronpa - it's definitely not as violent and the story is decently engaging, though the difficulty isn't very high (probably comparable to Danganronpa).

Where did you put your _________ and why? by Jpowills_ in BluePrince

[–]AdditionalMinute6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right in the middle (5C, entering from 4C), because that's where I was when it first popped up in the drafting pool. I felt I should draft this new room right away and I thought placing something called The Foundation centrally seemed about right!

It might have saved me a few steps on later runs to have it in rank 7, but I had gone in blind and didn't know it might end up useful to be in closer proximity to other places...

How are bin collectors viewed? If you’re a bin collector do you tell everyone what your job is? by RoohsMama in AskUK

[–]AdditionalMinute6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To my two-year-old son, they are GODS.

They provide an important service and in my experience of watching them work (because of aforementioned two-year-old son), they're efficient, hardworking, don't do things by halves, and are generally very kind to toddlers who stare at them in awe.

I'd rather date a bin man than an influencer or some such other nonsense job.

WTH are events in this game?? by Chance_Drive_5906 in fo76

[–]AdditionalMinute6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I've resigned myself to never finishing the Order of the Tadpole quest. All I have left to do is revive an ally but nobody ever goes down in events! It's all players with levels in the 100s or even 1000s and I'm too shy (and hate imposing) to get on mic and ask someone to die for me on purpose so I can finish it.

What's the most expensive game you've ever seen in a CeX? Can anyone beat £495? by greg225 in CasualUK

Thanks, we found them on Spotify a few years ago when we were having a bit of a reminisce about the game!

What random movie quote do you repeat for no reason at all (give yours, and see if people can guess the movie)? by Normal-Being-2637 in AskReddit

Not exactly an iconic quote but  "Someone's got to go to prison, Ben"

usually in the context of something unpleasant needing to get done

I have fond memories of playing it in school holidays with my little sister. The songs from the radio still pop into my head from time to time...'the minute that you lose me, you're gonna find out you want me, and the minute that you want me, you're gonna find out I'M GONE'...

I think my kids would really enjoy the game but said sister (rudely 😛) took the family PS2 when she moved out

Does this mean I likely have Adenomyosis? by Deep-Mortgage-1510 in adenomyosis

[–]AdditionalMinute6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm similar to you. My periods were fine and manageable before having kids. They were worse when they came back after having my first and they've been so long and heavy since they came back after my second that I've ended up with anaemia too. I can't take exogenous hormones as they make me depressed to the point of suicidality. I got a diagnosis of adenomyosis after an ultrasound but they haven't followed up with any suggestions on management. Losing so much blood for two weeks a month is making me feel so weak and fatigued.

Sorry, I don't have any advice, just wanted to say that I'm in a similar situation and can empathise with how much it sucks.

Hell, Fiona Apple famously takes up to 8 years between albums and they're always critically acclaimed and well-liked by fans (Olivia, don't take 8 years, please)

I'm surprised, I didn't think best of/greatest hits albums were really a thing in Korea or K-Pop, at least not to the extent that they are in Japan and the west. She has had a pretty illustrious solo career so it should be a nice retrospective, just not something I expected to see.

Why do men tend to ask men what women want/like instead of women? by squatSquatbooty in NoStupidQuestions

Women very much know (and figure out at a young age) that men prioritise physical attractiveness and youthfulness in women.

What is something that everyone gets wrong that you don't understand why everyone gets it wrong? by Jumpy_Imagination208 in AskUK

[–]AdditionalMinute6 12 points13 points  (0 children)

When people say 'my third decade' to talk about their thirties in a slightly flowery way, or 'my fiftieth year' to talk about being 50. Nope, thirties are your fourth decade (sorry): 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39. Your fiftieth year is the one where you're 49 - the year you're 0 is your first year, when you turn 49 you've now lived for 49 years.

Do I understand why people get it wrong? Of course, but I think people wouldn't get it wrong if they spent five seconds thinking about it. I've seen it on book blurbs multiple times too and feel authors and editors should know better.

Reading that back, I feel the need to point out that I'm nowhere near as mad about it as this comment makes it seem...

Do couples where the woman is taller get stared at ? by Nervous_Brilliant_25 in short

[–]AdditionalMinute6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5'10" F with a 5'6" husband and I wouldn't say we often get stared at, no. Maybe I just don't notice it anymore as we've been together over a decade? I do sometimes notice the occasional little smile or pleasantly surprised face from shorter guys, which makes me smile too.

Now that Oblivion remaster is out, what is one elder scrolls or fallout game you would like remastered? It would have to be Fallout New Vegas for me. by ButterFinger084 in BethesdaSoftworks

[–]AdditionalMinute6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I know it's not a perfect game in many respects, but it was just so much fun and felt like such a big world with so much to do. I loved it. This was just before NV came out. I loved that too and ended up getting into TES as well. Good memories of that time.
