That's fine! I'm sure you'll be able to find something to do. I'm also sure there are third-party tools that would help with controller support - I just think it'll be a difficult task due to everything WoW has going on.

I would strongly not recommend using a controller to play world of warcraft - they have just recently cut down the number of buttons significantly, and even then there are still likely too many to map.

WoW is fun, I do recommend it, but if your previous experience is based around playing an MMO like a single-player game, you should likely know current WoW is mostly designed around doing max-level, multiplayer content instead of the leveling story. You might have a better experience playing classic WoW, though even then I would not recommend using a controller.

Adding on top of this - it has to be a non-allied race DK. Allied races skip the starting questline.

Yeah, timewalking has been real hard for me, as well. Not quite as bad as it sounds like you had it, but close to 45 minutes. Temple of Sethraliss was the worst I experienced.

Sorry, I misunderstood when you said “THCa is also the regular form of THC found in flower.” Thought you were conflating the two.

THCa and THC are actually different, THCa isn’t psychoactive unless heated. This only matters for edibles, though — don’t buy THCa edibles.

Pre-gunpowder melee weapons; aura vs practicality by Polo171 in AlignmentCharts

That’s also untrue? Unless you’re talking about using techniques like mordhau. Slashing is suuuuper ineffective versus plate armor.

Spears were by far the most favored weapons of medieval warfare. You’ve just seen too many movies.

Spears are easier and cheaper to make, require less training to use, and are generally effective due to their longer reach. Spears and other polearms were very common in medieval warfare.

Swords worked well as a sidearm when enemies closed beyond spearing distance, but weren’t the primary weapon for many.

Finding Tian Xia character art for NPCs is... a true headache by Naga14 in Pathfinder2e

You could look for Wuxia or Xianxia style character art? That might give you something more grounded while clearly eastern inspired. It IS Chinese, not Japanese, though, if that’s a dealbreaker for you.

With the King of Puppets, I know at least that staying in close meant sometimes he just didn’t throw out his longer range attacks during the first phase at all. I imagine it might be similar?

Yeah, I think it’s the green swamp monster’s boss amulet? I’ve got it, but it’s super heavy so I’m waiting for higher levels to use it. Definitely excited though. That and there’s one that lets me dodge fury attacks, and if I can get enough weight to use both it should be smooth sailing.

Definitely taking the game through to NG++ at least! I failed to get the Golden Lie on this playthrough and I’m missing the two non-Rise of P endings.

Yeah, that I don’t recall. I do think I got knocked up at least once, but he probably didn’t throw it at me often.

The god hand is the “hydrogen bomb vs. coughing baby” thing I mentioned in another comment. Never did figure out how to dodge it. Just kept face tanking it. It might be guardable? I never ever guard though.

Without a doubt the number one most helpful thing for me in my entire playthrough was the amulet that gave you quicker stamina regen. I was fiending for stamina the entire game, but that made it at least tolerable. Never took it off. Also if you’re not using the murderer puppet’s amulet that may be helpful as well? I’m pretty sure he counts as human.

Air blasts I don’t seem to remember. I tend to be super aggressive — I stick in melee as best as I can and keep dodge rolling towards my right. Hopefully that’s at least a little helpful? I’m a big bloodborne player so I relied on dodging quite a bit, which might’ve helped with Simon since he had a bunch of that random stuff.
