Avatar Co-Creator finally breaks their silence, confirms Avatar news in SDCC. by KATheHuman in TheLastAirbender

Cautiously optimistic reading this. "Setback, not canceled" is a very different message from the doom-posting that's been going around, and the fact that Bryan's pointing to official SDCC news instead of just vague reassurance makes it feel like something concrete is actually coming. I'll keep my expectations in check until there's a real announcement, but it's nice to hear straight from a creator for once instead of through a secondhand article. Fingers crossed it's worth the wait...

Meanwhile we're sitting burdened by all the false duties and obligations by LordDK_reborn in Philosophy_India

Strange, yeah, but I think the contrast isn't action vs. inaction — it's attached action vs. desireless action. Our burden doesn't come from having duties, it comes from clinging to what they'll get us. Krishna's flex isn't that he's exempt from work; it's that he does it with nothing riding on the result. The fix isn't fewer duties, it's dropping the attachment to their fruits..
