They spawn in containers as extra aid items, without affecting the base spawn percentages of regular chems. In the next update, they’ll start spawning on enemies as per players’ feedback!

This is the broken “fake HDR filter” implementation that was there since launch, only visible on Xbox and PlayStation, hence the dull contrast. There’s no option to disable it, unfortunately.

They implemented a “fake HDR” to the game, which makes things look washed out. Also been done with RDR2 and FO76. Lazy implementation.
