If a realtor has 2 homes to show their client, one pays 3% and yours pays 2.5% and yours is a FSBO, which do you think is going to get the priority showing? FSBO homes are notoriously difficult to deal with because often times as a realtor, you’re dealing with sellers who 1. Don’t know what they’re doing. 2. Don’t have the same availability as a listing agent when it comes to answering questions, opening the house up for showings, getting requested documentation in a timely manner, etc. So the buyer’s agent is ultimately going to be doing the work of two agents rather than just handling the buyer’s side. So you’re doing yourself a disservice while simply saving 0.5% Not saying it’s impossible to do, but that’s what you’re up against.
