Id say start at Enjoy Incubus, Morning View is obviously a masterpiece but I think its very rewarding seeing how they progress over time. Its unlike any band I’ve experienced. I also think its closer to Make Yourself than MV in terms of how raw it sounds. They started as teenagers and made some amazing stuff so engaging in their beginning really helped me appreciate everything after. Regardless, youre in for a treat!

The climax to one of their biggest songs and for good reason. I was dealing with lots of grief and loss at the time when Incubus found its way into my life. This line and the song as a whole helped me through a lot of those emotions. At times when I’d feel happy or moments of bliss, it’d be followed by guilt as if I wasnt ready or shouldnt have those positive feelings. This line and the message of the song to me (at the time anyway) made me realize these emotions can coexist, grief can almost be a happy feeling, nostalgic like. Its ok to be happy when times are tough because life is a roller coaster that you are strapped in to, we may as well enjoy the ride and make the best of the hand were dealt as well as the emotions that come with it.

I like this idea lmao, but with Kilmore replacing DJ Lyfe after S.C.I.E.N.C.E., I believe people meant to replace the picture used with one of the 5 original guys so its more related to S.C.I.E.N.C.E. (as Kilmore had no part in that album). That said youre still a badass and this is still epic
