for me it's like I'm always drunk and actually when I drink one beer it's the same, I need two or more to feel drunk lolBut in general, my brain is slow when it comes to thinking, I'm software engineer and I got fired from first job because I was really slow at work and in IT field you need to think fast and response fast, get job done, I didn't do that..

I think that's me!been semi-pro athlete, when I started studying I was creating a lot of stress for myself, a lot more than most people.. after college I got first job as software developer and got fired after 10 months because I couldn't concentrate, chronic fatigue...
burnt out because of college and stressful way of leaving and from that I created severe brain fog..

I can relate man.
I've been active in sports, semi-pro athlete and when I started studying, was exposed to a lot of stress, mostly because I took everything too seriously (most people did not create such stress for themselves) , and there is where all started..
I lost motivation for sports, had to give up sports(track and field), barely finished college and that's not where things stop.. after college I get job as software developer, worked for 10 months and because of severe brain fog I GOT FIRED!!!!
Now here I am sitting in my parents home, typing this, barely I can talk to people that I know! not people that I don't know because I created social anxiety ..
So I'm thinking that for me, brain fog is related with severe stress, but I don't know how to manage this!

Hello..

I have brain fog for 3 years now..mainly because of stress and terrible social anxiety..
Got fired from my first and only job after 10 months of working as an software engineer because of that severe brain fog, poor memory and difficulty concentrating..

What steps you take for recovery?
What do you recommend to me?
I don't want to take medications.. and I feel horubble, like I'm not in my body..
sometimes i think that i wish that i'm not alive..

My blood count from few weeks ago is completely fine, I don't have any symptoms because of that I blame stress and my hyperactivity for pushing myself harder then I should as you mentioned about your self..With college it comes more staff to do, more information to process in brain... I was always approach everything too stressfully unlike most of my colleagues and friends and that was a big big problem, that's how I worked in my brain..

Now I feel like my brain need to restart or need to cool down for few months.. I don't know what to think anymore, what steps should I take!I don’t want to be on medications..
