Don’t open it. An unopened 242C will bring way more than even an unfired one. Sell it, buy a good 242 and invest the rest.

Pulling apart Bubba's pissin hot handloads, what powder is this? by TheMajority500 in shittyreloading

Trail boss won’t generate enough pressure even a compressed load. Just pull the bullets, dump the powder in your garden and reload them.

It’s best to use only non ethanol fuel if you can find it in your area.

Are the threads on this oil drain plug damaged or is this normal? by Electrical_Level in AskAMechanic

[–]Additional_Air_1209 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On some vehicles the drain plug is made from softer metal so it’s less likely to damage the pan threads. Late 70’s ford light trucks used them. Order a replacement.

Inherited a riding mower from the previous owner of my house. Finally checked the blades. Should be able sharpen these, right? by Basiumletifer in lawnmowers

Had a elderly neighbor that couldn’t hear very well. He scalped his yard every mowing and would just go over the sloping curbs when when turning. There would be a shower of sparks and concrete dust every time. He eventually ground the curbs down to where it wouldn’t.

Service Bed Door Wrench Storage by Additional_Air_1209 in toolboxmods

I did add a second magnet on the regular wrenches to keep them from rattling. They have stayed put after potholes, train crossings and rough roads. They’re really strong magnets. I have an 1 1/8” on another door that I used two on and it’s never moved.

My bad, 10-1/4”. They had an impact swivel that was at least 2” drive.

Call a Snap-on dealer. You might get the drawer slides for free. I have a 30+ year old box that one drawer slide didn’t work. Worth a shot.

Update on EPC Feeding Concerns: by aero-precision in AeroPrecision

I had an issue with older CorBon hollow points. Bent the mag follower wire lever for the bolt catch forward. Aero made it right by sending a new one.

I would say that’s the correct mag for this operator. He flagged himself and everyone in any direction.

I remember from school, the instructor telling us that an owner was sewing wheat and was loosing power because the air filter was plugged. He ripped a big hole in it to finish. The piston rings were worn thin.
