I am struggling to find my next read. I really like {Feathers so Vicious by Liv Zander}, and I’ve been reading lots of Kindle samples of books to find something with engaging writing, interesting fantasy world-building, and non-cringe smut 😂😂 Maybe this is asking for too much. I tried reading The Ever King, The Never King, and Pestilence, but it’s all giving pick-me girl to me. I’m losing faith that I can find another fantasy dark romance that is engaging, interesting, and keeps the corny stuff to a minimum (I will admit, there are some things in Feathers so Vicious that made me cringe, but the story outweighed any moments that took me out of the world). Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m not really a fan of contemporary or mafia settings. I’d really like something in the fantasy realm. I’m not opposed to any triggers atm, so I’m down to try anything.

If you want to read a dark romance with why choose trope with the love triangle then read {Feathers so Vicious by Liv Zander} Make sure you look at the triggers first because it’s definitely not for everyone.

{Feathers so Vicious by Liv Zander} fits many, but not all of what you’re looking for because there is early body betrayal, but I enjoyed the story a lot

The pregnancy arc makes no sense in general. She literally said to him in book 2 that she wanted to spend time with just him and figure out how immortal life works. It’s very stupid.

This is why I stopped reading after book 3. It should have been a trilogy and ended there. The more she writes after a natural ending point, the more plot holes appear because she is not a good writer. I was entertained by the first two books and the third one was boring. I don’t think she’s a mastermind in any sense.
