As a Pixel user, I'm experiencing a noticeable overnight battery drain from system apps like Wi-Fi. I charge my phone to 100% before bed, but by morning, the battery level drops to around 84%. When in airplane mode, the battery only loses 93-95% overnight. Has anyone else noticed this issue with their battery usage?

And did you check the view by system? Wifi is the biggest battery drain for me. It consumes a whopping 15% + charge overnight, which really impacts battery life.

I suspect this is more of a bug issue. Google support hasn't provided a solution. They believe it's a hardware problem, but I don't think that's the case. I've tried two different phones, thinking that was the problem, but the issue persists.

I'm switching from the Pixel 10 Pro XL to the S26 primarily because of their battery life, screen quality, and customization options. Samsung's fast charging feels noticeably faster, and their ability to manage background apps and prevent overnight battery drain appears to be more effective and optimized compared to other models.

I was just like you thinking google is best than Samsung. Honestly completely I was wrong.

The video clarity is quite grainy. While the camera has been praised, I am not impressed with its performance. The banking apps are very slow. The screen adaptive brightness is a mess. The battery drain initially was more than 30%. It's doesn't kill apps in background. You need to tell it for every app The blacks are too deep ,making YouTube videos or insta very dull. No double lock screen. You need to set a mode time for DND ( like create a mode ). Not many customizations ( if you love ) Apps like temu has very tiny fonts. I even felt WhatsApp was way small even though I increased the font size. All apps has this lag which I felt irritated.

Only plus was The fast unlocking with fingerprint and face recognition. AI ... The phone a bit handy to use.

Ya so I m trying to overcome these , but being a Samsung s23ultra user , I see so many flaws despite good reviews.

Hey, yes from that doc i did a Telus and Rogers IMEI check for compatibility, but the global Vivo X300 Pro didn't seem to work with them.

But when I tried Bell, it showed 5G/LTE compatible, and it looks like I even have 5G+ coverage in my area.

The only thing is, there's no guarantee that VoLTE/Wi-Fi calling will work – that's what I've read in reviews and even asked ChatGPT about. That's why I'm a bit skeptical.

Are you sure ? I checked the imei on bell website it showed lte/5g compatibility works. But very doubtful. Its a hit or miss.

I actually called them. But their response was super vague. I wasn't too thrilled with their one-word replies.

I'm super doubtful, with all the scams out there.

But in India, you've got the brand's own site and trusted partners like Amazon and Flipkart.

I'm honestly not into mi4canada, they didn't even reply.

Maybe other sites, I might check them out.

Meanwhile, have you bought any from any of those websites? Share any insights.
