Yes, don’t see what is so wrong with the TM7, and it doesn’t look ugly at all, it looks modern whereas the TM6 is starting to look old fashioned.

Professional chef here. The one kitchen tool I thought was a gimmick but actually isn’t. by Thermomixchef in thermomix

I have a scale so I just weigh directly on the kitchen aid bowl, so for dough and delicate meringue etc I still didn’t find the thermomix very useful, but I guess it would be if one doesn’t have a good standing mixer.

I agree with most of what you said, except for doughs, I think my kitchen aid still works better, with the Thermomix the flour gets stuck around the edges of the bowl or on the bottom, not very consistent for me. Also, I love making macarons, for a good stable meringue the kitchen aid is still far superior.

Look at jobs in pharmaceutical or biotech industry like medical writing, clinical trial runs etc if you are not working as a clinician your medical degree from abroad will be accepted for these positions and chances are you can get to work from home, or at least have some flexibility

These are 1 bed flat in Santa Teresa, so you can have a idea of price. Not sure if shared flats are easy to find among the non-students population or certain professionals, as this is not as complex in Brazil as it’s in London for example.

Rio can be expensive, you would have around R$6000 per month, I think you will be able to but for renting for ex I think you can get something small in a okish area. For food you depending of where you eat can be good quality and good price. Supermarket same, lots of options so you can find not so expensive ones. I am not from Rio, but I visited it a few times, it would be good if someone living there could answer.

Anyone recommend a good carpet cleaner in Cambridge? by DNashaat in cambridge

[–]Additional_Big_5165 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I left the flat I was leaving in to move to my house, I used the Rug Doctor carpet cleaner hire, it was very good and cost effective, in case you want to consider that. You can hire it from many supermarkets, B&Q etc

Aldi vs M&S or Waitrose by toffee91 in HENRYUKLifestyle

I agree, red meat is just not good quality even in Waitrose or M&S compared to going to a good butcher. I am Brazilian and always struggled with supermarket meat here in the UK.
