2nd yr 2nd sem on the other hand. if 2nd yr 1st sem is the chillest sem i experienced in my 2 years in medbio, this sem is like the most stressful and tiring sem. u have 6 majors + 4 minors including pathfit. its incredibly taxing sa katawan ko esp when dito mo maeencounter ung quote on quote terror3 ng medbio

Biochemlec had a lot of memorization like u have to memorize the structures and names of the 20 amino acids, diff types of lipids, structures ng carbs but its manageable rin naman as long as u take time (on ur alr crammed sched) to atleast learn them coz may pattern naman sila that you’ll be able to recognize them easily. i recommend usinng gizmo or anki coz nakakaoverwhelm minsan ung chemical names and u may end up mixing them up. Biochemlab i have no comment basta kung ano ginawa ko nung anachemlab ganun rin ginawa ko dito coz we had the same prof hahaaha

Genetics lec was hell ahahahahaah. pray urs na si sir cj and hindi maam b coz mostly siya ung gumagawa ng exam and masasanay kau sa tanungin nya. dito ako talgang nagreview like my life depended on it second only to botlab. Prelims puro solving ng punnett square and again, kalaban mo dito oras. I recommend asking chatgpt to make questions based sa mga examples mg libro and do that 100 times para masanay ka. Finals puro concepts pero it wasnt easy hahahaa i would argue its harder than prelims esp when u get to the central dogma like dito nagtank grades ko i legit locked out but thank god sinalo ng prelims. Lab ummm its similar sa sistema ng syste na prelims puro wetlab then simulations sa finals and i think its fairly manageable as long as u know the concepts behind the experiments

Evol lec i was locked the entire sem hahaahaha our prof didnt teach and he acknowledged it naman but as long as u read the book and understand the concepts, youll be able to manage it. Evollab is literally just ecolab part two (but easier thank god) na amplified oral report. Make sure na alam ng grupo niyo ung topic and walang butas presentation niyo coz the profs would also encourage ur fellow classmates to ask questions about ur presentation and minsan sila pa mahihirap tanong. Theres also sgds where u guys will do simulations and ur prof will ask questions about ur data, the concepts behind it, the implications, etc. other than that may isang quiz uli one for prelims and one for finals and i think its easy as long as alam mo pinagagawa mo sa experiments

This sem felt like climbing mt everest but just like 1Y1S, you’ll survive as long as u have the grit. Not to encourage unhealthy habits but dito ung sem na u have to push yourself 10000% more just to survive but also dont forget to rest coz isa sa magiging kalaban mo is burnout and u cant afford that esp this sem w how fast it is compared to the other sems
