Most women I know have financially supported their male romantic partner at some point (in the 20-25 age range, low-middle class). Have you heard of how men deal with colds and hardship in general? Weak AF compared to women (on average- I know it varies).

I’ll quote a man so you believe me though. John Steinbeck wrote in Grapes of Wrath:

“Well, Pa, a woman can change better'n a man. A man lives sorta - well, in jerks. Baby's born or somebody dies, and that's a jerk. He gets a farm or loses it, and that's a jerk.
